1Р78 Gunsight
The daylight sights are designed for aiming during firing from the AKMN, AK 74N, AK JAM, AKS74N and AN-94 assault rifles and RPKN, RPK 74N and RPK 74M light machine guns.
Indices:
— 1P78 for the AKMN submachine gun;
— 1P78-1 for the AK 74N, AK 74M, AKS 74N and AN 94 submachine guns;
— 1P78-2 for the RPK 74N and RPK 74M light machine guns;
— 1P7B-3 for the RPKN light machine gun.
The sights differ in the weapon mounting brackets and aiming reticles.
The sights use optical arrangement similar to the 1P77 sight.
Sighting angles are set according to the aiming marks for various ranges on the aiming reticle. Alignment with the weapon in two sigh! variants Is carried out by moving the lens and in two other variants
— by moving the aiming reticle.
Peculiarities:
— wide field of view;
— small size;
— indication within the field of view of the input range with illumination at nighttime by a radioluminescent light source;
— the sight can come complete with different brackets for top and side mounting;
— sighting angles and range value are input simultaneously.
